Gateway Employment Resources, Inc. was founded in 1985, by The Pathway School and first opened our doors in January 1986 to serve students and adults with disabilities residing in Montgomery County. In September 1989 Gateway Employment Resources established its own Board of Directors and in 1994 separated from The Pathway School to become an independent, private non-profit agency.
As we prepare to celebrate our 22nd Anniversary, our primary goal, to help individuals with disabilities secure and maintain competitive employment, remains the same. Gateway's organization has grown over the years, and the program has been adapted to meet the ever-changing employment needs of our participants. We are located in Montgomery County Pennsylvania and serve individuals residing in this tri-county area.
The staff and board look forward to continued growth for the agency and quality services for all our customers for years to come.

The mission of Gateway Employment Resources is to provide the highest quality comprehensive services in placement, training, performance monitoring, and ongoing support, which will enable people with disabilities to secure competitive employment, as well as to educate the community, business, and industry regarding the potential of individuals with disabilities.
